Welcome to Busy Crow Studio Postcards! Did you know that deltiology is the official name for collecting postcards? And, postcards might be one of the top three collectible hobbies (next to stamp and coin collecting!) It's one of the only ways you can share a great piece of art with someone for under 30 cents (USA), and further away for only a bit more! Postcard designs offered here are also available as regular Greeting Cards at my Zazzle shop!

Postcard Tag! - Received
Postcard Tag - what a fun way to collect postcards; I obtained this one from Peace in the Naked Postcards (means without envelope!) group at swap-bot. It features a bright red dragon in a futuristic landscape...very nice!
Bump in the Night Postcard Swap - Received
These are the cards I received from my two swap partners for the Bump in the Night Postcard swap at swap-bot; J. Bennet of WV sent an adorable and hilarious cartoon card (drawn by the artist herself, I love it)! It features a giraffe poking its head into the bedroom window of a startled occupant who has just flicked on the bedside lamp to see what the noise was...
The second card from partner Violet featured a great photo of a gentleman in top had and goatee with a glass and bottle of absinthe on the table, and there are skulls floating about....fabulous card, and what a coincidence, I had drawn a skeleton with absinthe for a postcard just last week, myself!

Receivers Choice Postcard Swap - Sent
This is the postcard that I am sending to my swap partner Jessi for the Receiver's Choice postcard swap (we must send a postcard with themes the partner suggests....mine likes owls and windows). I used cellophane as the 'glass' for this window -- I hope it doesn't get broken during the mailing process!
Quilling Postcard from my Swap-It Green Swap
I also swap items at Swap-It Green, where you trade for 'points' and not money; a way of recycling items that are great but not wanted any longer. My swap partner enclosed this postcard with the book she sent me. If you can see the detail, the card features a quilled bird! If you would like to see more of this artistry, visit:
